ABA Services and Developmental Support in Charlotte, NC
Ascent Pediatric Group offers individualized ABA services, caregiver coaching, parent training, developmental consultation, and group-based supports for children, adolescents, and the families who care for them.
Not every family needs the same thing.
Ascent provides both direct ABA services and ABA-informed supports. Some children receive individualized ABA therapy. Others benefit most from caregiver coaching, consultation, group-based services, or a combination. We help families understand their options and find the right starting point — without pressure.
How We Help Families Decide
Step 1. We listen to your story and your goals.
Step 2. We explain what services may be appropriate and why.
Step 3. We build a plan together — at your pace.
How Our Commitments Shape Services
Every service at Ascent is designed around four commitments that guide how we work with children and families.
Whole-Child Care
We consider the whole child — strengths, communication, sensory preferences, daily routines, and family context.
Family Partnership
Caregivers are active collaborators in every step — planning, coaching, and decision-making.
Clinical Integrity
Services are grounded in evidence, ethics, and individualized clinical judgment — not one-size-fits-all protocols.
Meaningful Growth
Goals are chosen because they matter in daily life — not because they look impressive on paper.

The Values Behind Every Decision
Dignity and Autonomy
We honor each child's voice, preferences, and lived experience in every plan we create.
Meaningful Outcomes
We focus on skills that improve real life — routines, independence, participation, and connection.
Family Partnership
Caregivers are active collaborators. Your insight isn't a supplement to our process — it's central.
Evidence-Based Practice
Our services are grounded in research and clinical expertise, always adapted to fit your child.
Compassionate Implementation
Children and families should feel seen, safe, and valued at every step.

THE ASCENT APPROACH
ABA, Designed Around Your Child
At Ascent, ABA is individualized, caregiver-centered, and rooted in assent, dignity, and meaningful real-life progress.
Individualized Recommendations
Every service recommendation is based on your child's unique profile — not a standard program or package.
Caregiver Involvement is Central
Parents and caregivers are active participants in planning, coaching, and implementation — not bystanders.
Assent and Dignity First
We prioritize your child's voice, comfort, and willingness in every session and every decision.
Goals That Matter in Real Life
We focus on communication, independence, self-advocacy, participation, and quality of life — not compliance metrics.
No Cookie-Cutter Programs
We do not apply the same treatment package to every child. Plans are built from scratch around your family.
